Seriously, is it too late for me to be a professional soccer player?
We Americans do not have the passion for soccer that they have in other countries. I had a meeting the other day with a guy who was thinking of adopting children. He said he wanted to adopt from Brazil, Argentina, or Nigeria. He said he would like to adopt from Italy - but there isn't much adoption which comes out of Italy. We chuckled a bit, but they I realized he was totally serious. I didn't think so at first, but then he looked at me with eyes that seems to say,'what, there's a problem with adopting a world class soccer team?!' He was serious.
I am officially getting on the futbol train. Go D.C. United!!!
