I think I’m addicted to ginger.

I got a cold two weeks ago and then an ear infection and the subsequent drugs that go along with all that jazz. So the drugs made me nauseous and not wanting to take more drugs on top of the drugs which were making me nauseated in the first place, I went looking for natural remedies.

Enter the ginger.

Ginger is a natural cure for motion sickness and, (I am not making this up) “Japanese researchers believe the gingerols found in ginger, may be responsible for blocking the body's reflex to vomit”. SWEET. Ginger is also asserted to help with migraines, digestion, blood flow and again, I am not making this up… greater sperm motility.

So… I found these GREAT little ginger chews at the health food store. They are made by The Ginger People and they are tasty! (I’m partial to the ginger peanut variety) And, arguably more important, they work. They work so well, I’ve pretty much been eating them non-stop for a week now.

I hope you can’t OD on ginger.

I heard if you eat enough raw ginger that you can "trip" like you are on acid.
