It is 11:08 at night, we haven't even really started debating amendments (and there are like 70) to the Homeland Security bill. I had an individual apple pie for dinner. The Republicans keep making motions for the Committee to Rise (essentially forcing a vote for no good reason - petulance in my opinion).
I do not remember this nonsense last year. My institutional knowledge guru says it wasn't like this last year because the Democrats AREN"T ASSHOLES. At some point you have to move forward!! Either that or be ready to face the consequences you dirty pig rat Republicans.
