I know you are are just waiting with baited breath! Well, you all are going to have to wait until November, as November is National Novel Writing Month.
I'm a little iffy on the details, but this website should be helpful.

Has anyone heard of this? I guess I need to get myself a new computer for NANOWRIMO. The computer that I currently write on is really old. It's been a good computer, but it's memory is so small, that I can't even load Outlook onto it. (Yeah, I know, small.) That, and I'm afraid that one day it is just going to make a funny sound and go to the happy motherboard in the sky - WITH all of my writings. Now that would be a bad thing, eh. Reminicent of the Sad Mac.
Anyway...

BrowserMetrics, Capitol Swell and I did a NaBloMo thingy. It was sort of the same, but not. At first I started to feel like a one note writing machine. But after a while you start pushing yourself to expand your style and outlook. It's pretty cool, but mind bending. It's especially mindbending when you have constant brain farts. That's just not fun at all.
NaNoMo sounds more fun. At least your trying to tell a story. At the same time it sounds a lot more time consuming considering it's got to be somewhat cohesive and take the reader somewhere. Even though it's not about quality, I'm sure it'll drive you mad constantly thinking of scenerios and what not. Sounds fun.
