I think it is generally a bad policy to blog about work, but...
No, just kidding.
I would actually like to say a few words about a bit of technology. Namely, the Audix woman and her little red light.
For those of you in the DC Metro area, if you have voice mail, you know what I'm talking about. The Audix woman (in the phone - shall we call her Audry?) is the woman who tells you you have messages on your phone, she instructs you about how to change and delete messages and she gets saucy when your mail box is full. (And isn't afraid to tell you!)
So whenever I turn around that damn little red light is on?! How am I missing these people? Seriously, Who are these people and why are they calling me? I cannot send federal dollars your way! Leave me alone!
I actually know a guy who does not have voice mail AT ALL. At first I thought, 'well that's silly, how would people leave you messages?'
However, I am begining to rethink breaking up with the Audry the Audix woman. What has she ever done for me?! (Other than randomly turning on the little red light after I just made it go away?)

Well this is an interesting blog. I happen to know a little about the little lady called Audrey we have tusseled for a bit in the last 12 years and you are right she usaully wins. I guess the best thing to do is hope she is doing the best to keep you connected with the people you want to hear from. After all she is the little voice that records all the thoughts and statements that make life worth living.....or at least listening.
We have the Audix woman here in Australia, but she has an Aussie accent. She sounds hotter than the American Audix woman, but that just may be the accent.
